Tanzania Refugee and Migration network (TAREMINET) is a network of twelve (12) organizations working with refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants in Tanzania coordinated and hosted by DIGNITY Kwanza. TAREMINET’s mission is to promote human rights and seek humanitarian assistance for migrants including asylum seekers and refugees to enable them to contribute to the development of Tanzania. TAREMINET envisions a Tanzania where migrants, including asylum seekers and refugees, enjoy all their human rights enshrined in international and domestic law, live with dignity and contribute to the development of the country.
TAREMINET has set its objectives which are to ensure that asylum seekers, refugees, and other migrants have access to humanitarian support which enables them to fully exercise their human rights; advocate for the rights of asylum seekers, refugees, and migrants; stimulate and facilitate cooperation and exchange of information among its members and the general public.
